EKR’s identity work process includes research, exploration and the talent of born graphic artists. BYU Law engaged EKR’s creative team for collaboration on its brand. The law school had a goal to update its look and create a symbol it could proudly show off on campus and in all marketing efforts.
EKR’s identity design process includes several concept explorations from many designers on our creative team. Taking original sketches and creating vector concepts in black and white, the creative team presented identity options for myriad lockups and marks for BYU to choose from. With the final logo selected, the design team explored colors and associated style.
With the identity locked in, EKR’s creative team developed an extensive style guide. BYU Law required several applications of the identity, and our team identified all necessary usage scenarios to assist in maintaining a consistent University brand.
