Over the course of several years, EKR worked closely with TV Guide Network to support the digital marketing needs of many of their on-air properties. Among those properties was Idol Tonight, TVGN’s pre-show for American Idol. The show’s hosts include Rosanna Tavarez along with American Idol favorites Justin Guarini and Kimberly Caldwell. Throughout this engagement, EKR produced websites, online games and display ads designed to drive tune-in.
As part of a large engagement supporting the digital marketing needs of TV Guide Network’s show “Idol Tonight,” EKR created an interactive game. The game allowed website visitors to create a dance sequence that would be acted out by the show’s hosts Rosanna Tavarez, Justin Guarini and Kimberly Caldwell. The game was designed and programmed by the EKR team. It included illustration, animation and interface design coupled with live video of the show’s hosts performing their best dance moves.
In addition to the website and online game materials, EKR designed and produced a series of rich media display ads to help promote Idol Tonight on TV Guide Network. Each of the ads was designed to match the corresponding print advertising campaign that ran concurrently with the digital marketing materials produced by EKR.
