Google hired the EKR team to design and develop a microsite that would highlight Google’s offerings for retail business. The site focused on delivering information to big box stores, perishable and consumer good retailers, service businesses and eateries. The project engagement included UI/UX, illustration, design and development services to deliver a functional website.
EKR’s team began the project by working with the client to identify the site content, planning a content delivery strategy, and presenting the content flow and site usability concepts to the client through a series of sitemap and wireframe deliveries.
Simultaneously with the sitemapping and wireframing, EKR’s designers created a series of moodboards that would serve to establish a design look and feel that would be utilized for the website.
EKR’s illustration team created several concepts for utilization as key art visuals for the site design. Each illustration concept began in a sketch phase prior to conversion into digital format.
After approval of the final sitemap, wireframes, moodboards and illustrations, EKR’s designers and developers executed on final designs for each page of the site and then developed the functional website pages.
